Swellendam :: Personal
Since Linel’s younger sister and her husband moved to Swellendam we’ve managed to visit them a couple of times, but never in winter. We touched down in a very cold, wet and windy Cape Town but the weather soon cleared and we ended up having great winter weather for the remainder of our stay.
During our visit, we took “Josef”, the family’s St. Bernard for a walk in the nearby woods one afternoon. While he was running up and down, Wian also had a blast exploring his surroundings, as boys do and Wynand and I got to practice our photography skills a bit.
This is the first of a number of planned posts of our trip, so keep your eyes peeled for more to come soon! In the next instalment I will show you a few photos from our trip to Kranskop Wine Estate.
PS: the colour matching between Linel, Wian and me was accidental, we didn’t “plan” it like that…promise! 😉
Wynand showing off his camera skills to his wife.
The view of Swellendam and the mountains from where we were walking.
A sip for me…and one for dad.
